
Barcelona Card is incredibly easy to use...
Write down the date on which you first use it, then use it on public transport or show it at the museums or participating establishments you wish to visit (the card is personal and non transferable).
Tickets are already taken care of … the having fun part is left up to you!
Barcelona Bus Turístic
You can catch the bus at any stop along the designated route. While the card is valid (1 or 2 days), you will be able to get on and off as many times as you want.
Barcelona Card:
Activation
The card is activated the first time it is used on public transport or the first time it is used at a participating establishment, NOT when it is purchased. Once activated, the card can be used for the period of time stipulated on each particular type of card.
Validity
The card is valid solely for consecutive days. When the expiry date is reached, the card can no longer be used.
Museum and attractions with free entry
To gain free entry, simply show the card and hand in the corresponding coupon at each participating establishment. Cardholders can visit the permanent collection at museums, monuments and other attractions a single time; please ensure that the day on which you wish to visit that they are not closed for some reason. Cardholders are advised to check opening times during the summer season (June 21 to September 21). Temporary exhibits are not always included as part of the free entry. All pertinent information can be found on the guide that is included when you purchase your card.
Transport
Use of public transport is included as part of the card. Cardholders have unlimited access to public transport while their card is valid.
Discounts
Take advantage of great discounts at participating establishments throughout your stay in the city, regardless of the duration of your card; for discounts, show the card before paying. Discounts are applicable regardless of the method of payment (cash or credit card), but cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. During the sales or when special discounts apply, the shop is under no obligation to apply any additional discounts. Cardholders are advised book a table at restaurants, especially at weekends and on the eve of public holidays. When ordering your bill, show your card and ask for the corresponding discount.

Service Operates:
All year round, except 25th December and 1st January. The Forum Route operates from 30th March to 30th September.
Running Times:
The first buses call at most stops between 9 and 9.30 am. For further information, you´ll find a detailed timetable at each of the 44 stops. Buses operate at 5 to 25 minute intervals, depending on the season. Each route takes approximately 2 hours, except the Forum Route which lasts about 40 minutes. For your added convenience, you can get on the bus at any of the designated stops.
