Other discounts – in addition, cardholders enjoy discounts ranging from 10-50% on nearly 100 different services (museums, sights, events, sightseeing tours and restaurants). The Budapest Guide includes a detailed description of discounted services which are available with the Budapest Card.

The Budapest Card guarantees the discounts for one adult and an accompanying child up to 14, while the Junior Card is valid for one person up to 18. The name of the card holder is written on the card, so the card cannot be assigned to somebody else after signature. To be able to use the card it is essential to fill it out correctly. Blank, corrected or incomplete cards are not valid, and their acceptance can be rejected by the service providers who offer the discount. A guide for correct completion is included in the Budapest Guide. If the card is completed incorrectly, the salesman should exchange it at the purchase location, giving a new, blank card and retaining the spoilt one.
