At the end of the Rambla de Barcelona, close to the sea, is the Mirador el Colom, which was opened in 1888 as part of the pageantry of the Universal Exhibition. There is a lift inside the column which ascends to the lookout 60 m up, from where you can enjoy magnificent views of Barcelona.
Enjoy a panoramic view of Barcelona by ascending the monument dedicated to Christopher Columbus (1452 - 1506), navigator and discoverer of America in October 1492.
